| so lets recap whats so excellent about fridays.
no traffic. lots of parking. last day of the work week. more socializing. possibility of crunkfest.
yes, i love fridays. so today is heidis last day at work and as a tribute to her i figured i would update my xanga. hehe yeah, we discussed this yesterday.
so work has been good. the last month or so has been pretty amazing, making my summer amazing. i've basically been working 9-6 everyday then just doing whatever I pleased on the weekends and at night. this summer was filled with ice cream, the beach, boston, binghamton, heidi, phil, jerry, my sisters, maricel, new clothes, kohls, non romantic obsessions, bon jovi, restaurant week, bizzes (though not always a good thing), the baltic sea, the big D, movies, and hot, hot, heat. yeah its been pretty much everything ive wanted a summer to be and i actually earn money so i can afford to do and buy whatever i want now which is super sweet. so far mamma dukes bought me the louis vuitton tote i wanted from the 06 cruise collection and i got myself a camera and lots of clothes. im considering an lcd tv but i have no use for one now esp since im leaving soon.
which leads me to another very important topic. italy in exactly one month yup, i leave for the semester in exactly 31 days and I can't be more excited. A sort of not friend moves to new york in like 2.5 weeks which will be cool and then i finish work in 3 and then I get a week of US open, eating out, packing, and saying goodbye before Roma.
Si no te merezco, no me ames.
ps i looked at the si tech blogring and i really dont recognize much of anyone. im not THAT far removed.
| So it looks like i havent updated in a very long time. from the looks of my last entry, a lot has happened since that one.
well finals are finally over (and have been for over a month now). that was a stressful time and to be perfectly honest im not really content with the way this year went. i dunno, i dont feel like i learned anything or accomplished anything and i kinda dont feel satisfied after finishing up my finals. eh whatever its over.
so since then ive done the baltic sea which was...you know the baltic sea. there really isnt much to say for it, it was cold and pretty but i enjoyed myself and met a lot of really cool people. and also spent like far too much time with my family.
after the baltic i came home for 2 weeks and chilled with my sister. excellent 2 weeks filled with finally running overdue errands and taking care of lots of important things. also lots of tennis and sort of getting tan. far too much shopping but so much excellent new clothing. oh yeah and ralphs, lots and lots of ralphs.
so then work started. yup june 19, the dreaded day, i started full time employment. im at ernst & young for the summer and i actually really like it. I'm an intern in the international department and I'm actually having a really good time. everyday is long but it goes by quickly and i work with some of the funniest people ive ever met. i come in at 9 and work for 3.5 hours til the best 30 minutes of my work day which i usually spend just laughing at the random things everyone says. considering the diverse array of 6-7 people that come together, 30 minutes isnt nearly enough. well anyway, so i work 9-6 everyday and then just come home, so desperate for sun and to be outside, that i immediately change into normal clothing and sit out on the front lawn with my blanket, my book, my phone, and a bottle of water. so i do that for say, 45 minutes, then i come in to a free home-cooked meal and usually head out to do adult things at night with my also adult friends. yeah we...get ice cream, go to the mall to buy work clothes, go to ralphs, go grocery shopping, run errands. all kinds of excitement really.
so thats pretty much the excitement that is my summer. i pretty much just work all week and then when the weekend comes spend time with my sisters in boston or my friends in staten or just do all the stuff i didnt have time to do during the week. lots to look forward to, really.
hm what else is new. oh yeah, heidi and i are pretty much the same person. i see her like all the time and talk to her almost as much as i talk to my own sister. this is just a lil shouty outy to her. woot.

| found some apartments for my sister. the first one was cool. the girls were really chill. the place was kinda nice. too expensive. the second one was AWESOME. sears models. haha no no theyre in the commercial and movie industry. they were totally chill. pretty clean for boys. huge room, big tv, big bed. completely enjoyed them. the third place wants me to come back tomorrow but the chance of that happening is so slim to none.
work tomorrow. test tuesday, wednesday, thursday. paper due thursday. friday...finally going home.
just a lil tiny bit more....
